Light Root Teen Farmer Group

The Light Root Teen Farmer Program is a hands-on educational experience designed to immerse teens in sustainable agriculture, ecological land stewardship, and food production. Participants gain practical skills through seasonal projects on the farm, learning about planting, harvesting, and caring for the land, while exploring the rhythms of nature.

In addition to agriculture, the program includes a comprehensive curriculum with discussions, skill-building exercises, and mentorship. Teens receive guidance in mindfulness, well-being, peer support, and meditation, fostering personal growth alongside practical farming experience.

Through this unique combination of hands-on learning and mindful mentorship, the Light Root Teen Farmer Program cultivates resilience, connection, and a deeper understanding of both the natural world and oneself.
